Announcing: LEADS Mobile Service
Web-based access to LEADS for officers operating in a mobile environment is now available to all law enforcement agencies in Ohio.

How much will it cost?
LEADS Mobile service is $100 per month plus an additional $5 per user, per month.
(Ex: An agency with 10 LEADS Mobile users would be $100 + $5 x 10 = $150 per month)
What is included?
Simple searches for license plates, driver’s licenses, social security numbers and names are available through LEADS Mobile.
When a query is made, the response includes everything normally received through LEADS Messenger (including warrants, CCH records, and Concealed Handgun Licenses).

How will officers take their LEADS certification?
LEADS certification testing through nexTEST is available to law enforcement officers on the MDT.
Who is responsible for background checks on LEADS Mobile users?
The subscribing law enforcement agency is responsible for all Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC) duties, including: background checks,
LEADS security requirements, adding new users, et al.
What are the minimum computer requirements for LEADS Mobile?
Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 are acceptable.
Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft.
MDTs with the Windows XP operating system will not be permitted to use LEADS Mobile.
